Bush Craft and Wilderness Experience

A great experience for children and families and anyone interested in outdoor survival techniques. Bushcraft is a reviving art that has been lost with the passing of time throughout our society, we can give you the chance to learn some of the techniques our ancestor's used everyday in their daily struggle for survival. We trully recommend this activity for a fun, sociable time and as a great way to learn new skills. Our bushcraft experience will help you, your friends, family or your collegues to understand and enjoy our fabulous outdoor environment found right here on our doorstep.

Introduction to Bush Craft .This fun, relaxing and educational course is available to anyone over the age of 8 years when accompanied by an adult, and is an excellent group activity. During the course you will be shown shelter building, how to forage for food and light a fire using traditional methods that date back thousands of years. Fishing, trap building, water procurment, and the safe practice of woodcarving can also be covered during the course. Instruction and equipment use for the day is set at £120 for a group or family of up to five people, with an additional cost of £20pp thereafter, lunch is included in this price. Prices can be arranged on request for individuals.

Three Day Bushcraft Wild Camping Course.
Our three day bushcraft course is ideal for people looking for an in-depth understanding to outdoor survival. Advanced techniques will be covered along with the option of sleeping 'wild' in your own shelter. (tents will be close at hand as well as trained instructors!) The course will be based around Killin in Perthshire. Foraging for wild food, woodland cookery, water procurement, wood carving, expedition skills, wildlife tracking and camp craft will all be covered. Please note you will be given a sheath knife to use during the course and to keep after as a souvenir.
