Day 4: Ben Ghlas and Ben Lawers.
Two of our favorite local Munros. Pictures speak a thousand words so
please check out the link to see and read more. Ben Lawers is
Scotland's tenth highest mountain and a relatively accessible one to
climb. Our walk starts a third of the way up the hill at the Scottish
Natural Heritage center located on its slopes. The walk starts with a
nature trail through a reserve and then up the slopes to Ben Ghlas (
another munro ) that is equally as delightful as Lawers. The walk
continues along the ridge between the two mountains loosing very little
height before you ascend the final slopes to the summit of Lawers.
